Conference - Snowhill Science presented at International Symposium on Healthy Aging

Dr Vince Vardhanabhuti, our co-founder, was on hand to present at the 17th International Symposium on Healthy Aging (9th-10th Sep 2023) in Hong Kong.

It was a pleasure for our team to participate in a traditional poster presentation, and we gained valuable knowledge throughout the two-day event.

Our focus was on exploring the association of body composition and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) on diseases related to aging.

Did you know that there are multiple body composition parameters that can be calculated without spending much money? These parameters, such as waist circumference, waist to hip ratio, and body shape phenotype (like apple, pear, slim, etc.), can provide a better understanding of the risks associated with chronic illnesses such as ASCVD, diabetes, and neurodegenerative diseases. Keep an eye out for our upcoming paper on this topic, where we discuss simple and more advanced body composition metrics to help you assess your risk of chronic illnesses.
